Clark County programs address childhood obesity, substance abuse

From the Marshfield News Herald:

Ganther will train student BLAST (Being Leaders and Standing Tall) representatives on the dangers of tobacco, alcohol and other drug use. The BLAST representatives will serve as healthy examples for their peers.

“This is reaching kids on their level and really informing them of the dangers of cigarettes — the addictive nature of cigarettes and how hard it is to actually quit smoking,” he said.
